Online Fiqh Course
Fiqh, or Fiqha, is an Arabic term denoting deep understanding. It refers to the profound knowledge of Allah’s and Prophet Muhammad’s (SAW) divine orders (Ahkam). Islam reminds us that our earthly life is transient and a test for our everlasting hereafter. This test discerns those who obey Allah and His Prophet from those who do not.
Islamic Fiqh guides mature, rational Muslims in their positive and negative actions, paving the path to success in both this world and the hereafter. It fosters piety and virtue.
It’s characterized by four major schools of thought, named after influential Islamic scholars. These scholars, known as Faqihs, have significantly shaped Islamic jurisprudence. Muslims worldwide largely follow their teachings, emphasizing a comprehensive understanding of religious principles that lead to righteousness and success in both temporal and eternal realms.
